Joe Heffington is a native Texan and has practiced law in Texas for over 40 years, much of it in Austin. His practice in Kerrville is based upon big city experience blended with small town values. Joe makes it a point to be accessible to his clients, and his staff is first rate when it comes to getting things done in a timely and efficient manner.
Joe did his undergraduate work at North Texas State University, and received his doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas. He has been a long time member of the Austin Bar Association, the Kerr County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. Joe is also a member of the Association of Attorney Mediators and the College of the State Bar of Texas.
Joe has been a songwriter and musician for many years, and has played with many professional entertainers, as well as appearing at community events.
Joe’s wife, Susan Heffington, is a multi-million dollar producer with the Reno Realty Group in Kerrville, specializing primarily in ranch sales and fine homes. Susan was raised in Kerrville and on her grandparents ranch in Kimble and Menard Counties.
